·         Demonstrate your active understanding of the Search Marketing industry

·         Develop and execute plans that support clients goals and strategies; ensure delivery of services according to contract

·         Develop, implement and maintain comprehensive organic search engine optimization recommendations

·         Conduct keyword analysis/research and develop quality keyword portfolio utilizing SEO tools and resources

·         Perform website analyses, consultation and other search engine marketing services as per client contracts

·         Implement Web Analytics tracking onto client websites

·         Consult on technical site issues pertaining to coding and site architecture

·         Recommend and evaluate SEM tools as needed

·         Develop recommendations for writing effective search marketing copy /meta data using industry best practices

·         Develop and guide the implementation of complex SEO strategies

·         Recommend optimization for various site components including copy, page title/descriptions, site architecture, filenames, etc.

·         Ensure that client site pages follow proper SEO guidelines with respect to coding and adherence to established copy/keyword best practices

·         Analyze latest algorithm changes and continually modify recommendations and best practices with regards to content, links etc

·         Develop and implement quality link programs and/or directory listings

·         Proactively seek information and clarification to ensure work product delivered meets client and internal expectations

·         Assist in current or new client business development/proposals as needed

·         Navigate a variety of search analytics tools to mine the appropriate performance data (experience with Google Analytics, Omniture, CoreMetrics, and other analytics programs an asset)

·         Be proactive and innovative with solutions to meet client goals

·         Participate in client meetings and conference calls

·         Demonstrate a strong focus on client satisfaction

·         Effectively communicate the search marketing process to clients

·         Work closely with other team members to understand and meet client goals

·         Stay abreast of latest trends in the industry with constant research in the SEM community; implement strategies accordingly

·         Develop and improve processes, policies and procedures

·         Attend conferences, workshops and meetings to network with clients and colleagues and keep abreast of current information and developments in the field.

 

Here are some of the things we’re going to be looking for on your resume:

 

·         Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field

·         Minimum 2 years experience in Organic Search or related field

·         Minimum 2 years of client service/management experience

·         Must be able to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of Organic Search, the industry, and best practices in this industry

·         Experience analyzing and applying response data to enhance campaign results

·         Must be able to think strategically and work autonomously

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills; previous experience in professional writing an asset

·         Keen understanding of Return on Investment (ROI), Return on Advertising Spending (ROAS) – how to calculate, how these numbers form the foundation of strategic initiatives, and how SEO management tactics can be implemented to maximize these numbers

·         Strong Research skills as the individual must be able to review articles, blogs, web discussion forums, press releases, etc. and be able to extract the key points from an SEO and  technical perspectiv

·         Ability to perform effectively under tight timelines

·         Must be comfortable learning various analytic interfaces

·         Comfortable with Excel and similar “number crunching” skills

·         Experience managing projects would be an asset

·         Ability to understand HTML and CSS and/or experience with URL rewriting, content management systems, blogging platforms, would be an asset

The Search Engine Optimization Analyst performs analysis of search engine optimization (SEO) program, develops best practice standards, and integrates Esurance SEO alongside other acquisition channels.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains comprehensive knowledge of best practices including all areas of search marketing

Qualifications:

MRM is designed to iterate in response to user requests to streamline processes, reduce the level of effort, and reduce cycle time for campaign development.  The tool is designed to be configured, so most of the effort is frontloaded to the analysis and requirements portion of the development cycle. 

 

 

Key responsibilities of candidate will include:

 

User Training and Support

·         Deskside Coaching – Answer ad hoc questions from users, provide reinforcement training as needed

·         Group Training – Develop and deliver training for new users, or existing users impacted by application enhancements, upgrades, or configurations. 

·         User Training Aids – Develop and update (i.e. annotated screen shots, summary Powerpoint decks)
